Oriental as a label is exactly the same as Asian. There's only one part of the world that thinks the term Oriental is 'slightly offensive' and that's parts of America - the rest of the world uses it as everyday language. Infact to Europeans Oriental is a term of endearment, conjuring up ideas of romance and mystery.
